FC Lugano is delighted to announce the signing of another young player from Ticino, Kenan Jakupovic (15.02.2011). Kenan has been with the club since the age of seven, progressing through the ranks of the 'Calcio dei Bambini' (Children's Football) programme and then the 'Footeco' teams at the Bianconeri Academy.
A physically powerful striker with a remarkable eye for goal, he is a Swiss U15 international and currently plays for Team Ticino U16.
The signing of Kenan Jakupovic provides continuity and fits in well with the path taken by the FC Lugano Academy: to nurture young talent from Ticino, accompany them in their sporting and professional growth and guide them along their development path towards the club's first team.
